1. All clients of Great Bay Equine must keep an active card on file.

    • The card on file can be a credit or debit card. We accept the following major credit cards:

      • Visa, MasterCard, and Discover

    • Great Bay Equine will not perform services without a card on file first. You can put a card on file by calling us at (603) 319-1479.

    • It is the client’s responsibility to keep an active card on file with Great Bay Equine. If the card on file expires or is no longer active, we request that the client calls us to put a new card on file as soon as possible.

  2. When a client puts a card on file with Great Bay Equine, they are acknowledging the following:

    • Payment for services provided by Great Bay Equine is due at the time of service. Estimates for services may be provided upon request.

    • Clients can choose to establish a particular value that Great Bat Equine can automatically charge to their card on file (e.g. invoices of <$250 can be charged automatically). If an invoice amount is greater than the specified value, you will receive an email requesting permission to charge your card.

    • Great Bay Equine reserves the right to charge a client’s card on file without permission after 2 attempts of requesting confirmation via email and the invoice(s) is/are 15 days past due from the date of the invoice(s).

    • Invoices are sent through email unless otherwise requested. A link is included in emailed invoices that clients can use to submit payment online (e.g. if a client wants to use a different card than what we have on file, this is a great way to do so).

    • Great Bay Equine ensures that all client information is kept confidential and secure. Please DO NOT email credit card information.

  3. Check and cash payments

    • We ask that check or cash payments are waiting for Great Bay Equine at the appointment location so that payment can be collected at the time of service. If you will not be present at an appointment, please make arrangements to leave payment with the responsible party who will be present (i.e. barn manager, trainer, etc.)

    • Great Bay Equine does not carry cash for change. If you want to leave cash for your payment, please do not expect change back. Any overpayment made with cash will be applied as a credit to the client’s account.

    • In the event that it is not possible to leave a check at the appointment location, Great Bay Equine requires check payments to be mailed to 55-2 Pine Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801 within 14 days of the invoice date. If a check is not received within that time frame, the credit/debit card on file will be charged for the account balance.

    • Regardless of a cash or check payment, every client is still required to have an active credit/debit card on file.

    • Returned checks will incur a $25 returned check fee.

  4. CareCredit

    • Great Bay Equine does accept payment through CareCredit.

    • You can learn more about CareCredit and submit an application at www.carecredit.com.

    • All payments via CareCredit must be made online at www.carecreditpay.com or https://www.carecredit.com/go/PZN663/. CareCredit card information is not kept in our system and we cannot charge your CareCredit card directly.

    • Using CareCredit does not eliminate the need to have a credit/debit card on file with Great Bay Equine.

    • Please let us know if you do not receive a receipt from Great Bay Equine for invoices paid with CareCredit within 48 hours of making the payment online.

  5. Past due account policies

    • In the event that a client’s card on file is inactive (or expired), there have been at least 2 attempts to contact the client, and the invoice(s) is/are 30 days past due from the date of the invoice(s), Great Bay Equine will pursue legal action.

    • In addition to pursuing legal action, account balances that are 30 days past due and have no active card on file, will incur a 1.5% late fee per month until the balance is paid.

    • The client is responsible for any and all legal fees that Great Bay Equine incurs while pursuing legal action to collect an overdue balance.

Thank you for choosing Great Bay Equine for your equine veterinarian services.
